Report from Sunday 11th aug 2024
3 private boat matches were scheduled for June, despite favourable weather only 2 were fished, the tuesday matches are not proving very popular at the moment with anglers preferring to fish the daytime rather then the evening.
Sunday 9th saw Echo fishing with Phil and Dick and Dolphin 1 with Chris and Brian.
Phil took the top spot with 4 bream, 1 smooth hound and 7 plaice, giving him 54 points
Chris was second with5 bream, 1 bass and a sneaky gilt, giving him 39 points
Dick third with 2 bream, 1 bass and 2 plaice, giving him 28 points
Brian came up 4th with 5 bream, total of 25 points
Tuesday 18th proved to be a glorious evening, out the front it was like a mill pond until the last 45 minutes
Boblin with just Colin and Bobi fishing, decided to have a leisurely match, a few drifts brought in
5 plaice and 1 bream to Colin, giving him 30 points
3 plaice and a Gurnard to Bobi 25 points.
