The Club is delighted to be able to continue fishing the Swanage Pier again this year.
We sincerely thank the Trustees and Pier Master for allowing us this venue again.
Hi guys. Swanage Pier last evening 4/12/24,,,.7 brave souls ventured out. The evening started out dry but breezy. We had low water so were fishing a rising tide. As forecast the rain arrived. We were catching Conger and the odd Doggie. The wind was rising and everyone was getting a bit soggy.Fishing had slowed. Decision made to end match at 9-45 and head home. Dave Draper 1st. Well done Jim who just pipped me in a very close match . Firstly I would like to welcome aboard the new members we had fishing last night , lovely to meet you and hope you enjoyed your first match with Poole Dolphins. Fishing a flood tide with a moderate breeze 5 bream , 20 strap congers , 7 pout , 3 bass and mini species were caught between 14 anglers . Some of our members would like a extra match on September the 11th , we are into the second half of the year so a extra match may effect who can attend and also who wins the pier cup , if everyone is happy with this then that’s fine no need to reply if you are in disagreement with a extra match then please leave message on the what’s app chat forum and we can make a decision from that or find a alternative solution . Thank you have a great weekend and see you on the next match at Southbourne on September 5th.
